Flying start up

Submitted by Harry Siempelkamp on Sat, 2009-05-02 21:37.

We should have permission to fly at Grouse very soon, as in the next couple of days, so please be patient. I expected to have it last week however the person required to authorize us to fly was not available.

The good news is that we will have a chair to the launch area again, starting May 10th or so, and possibly priority loading like in the old days. The bad news is that because of the new chair the launch may be a bit more challenging.

It would be great if people could post their takeoff experiences on the web site so that we can all be aware of the new conditions at the launch.
